We are proud to announce that the
Hammond Marina has been awarded the designation of Clean
Marina. The Clean Marina program was established in
2008 by the Indiana Department of Natural Resources.
This program outlines environmentally sound operating and
maintenance practices for marine operators and recreational
boaters. To qualify for the "Clean Marina"
designation, the facility must meet 80% of the
qualifications. Hammond Marina was able to meet 100%
of those qualifications!
Thanks
to the efforts of the staff and the cooperation of our
boaters, we have succeeded in accomplishing our goal of
becoming the first marina in the State of Indiana to
achieve the "Clean Marina" designation.
