The
clubhouse at Lost Marsh has been on the drawing
board for the last 10 years. Moving from a
double wide trailer on June 1, 2009 the much
anticipated grand opening with spacious locker rooms
and a Heritage Creations designed pro shop have been
well received. The Frank Lloyd Wright inspired
prairie style building sits atop the former Bairstow
Slag Mountain, a former brown field site in far
north Hammond. The second level is home to the
Meyer's Castle Restaurant, Bar and 240 seat banquet
facility. Spacious balconies with outdoor
dining is also available. It is important to
note that the entire facility is open to the public,
not just the golfers, as everyone is welcome.

p.m.
